One of the most interesting and cool features of a Chow is the color of its tongue. My dog's puppy (above) although mixed, carries this trait as you can see. When she was very young, the colors of her tongue only had spots of blue that didn't blend in too well with the pink. It didn't take long for it to change to a full shade of blue. It is a unique quality that has always captured my attention.
