MY GRANDMA

She’s just a Grandma others view
Whenever she goes by
But...
There’s more to her than what some see
And now I'll tell you why...

She's kind and so unselfish
She gives of what she’s got
Her unwavering persistence
Has earned her quite a spot
The ones who oh surround her
Just know without a doubt
This flawless perfect Grandma
Knows well what loves about
Her cooking aw is heaven
A talent she withholds
She drives and she does errands
She’s humble yet she’s bold
It seems she knows the future
Before we all can see
And warns us with her wisdom
With vast authority
She senses any danger
And tells it as it goes
Exactly as she sees it
I wonder how she knows

My Grandmas endless knowledge
Was forced on her to last
Through educated farmers
Throughout her joyful past
They taught her with conviction
Instilled in her the pride
To share her gains with others
She's  held so dear inside
She’s that...
One in a Million Grandmas
That others wished they'd had
She's a Priceless Prime Possession
That’s here to keep us glad
I've shared my life with Grandma
Through God's potential plot
She’s taught me how to value
The Worth on Earth we’ve Got.
